Alberta's High School Completion Framework
There usually isn't one single reason kids leave school, but several of the more common ones are listed below. Leaving school is not a snap decision, nor is it always just about what is happening at school. Leaving school is usually a process that begins long before a student reaches high school. This series of web pages has been created to provide parents, caregivers and students with links to useful information to support them to keep their kids in school or to return to high school themselves.

How to talk to your teens about their relationships
This presentation will address how sometimes parents notice things in their teen’s relationships that concern them. How do you talk about these concerns in a way that your teen is most likely to hear them? This workshop also empowers parents to effectively recognize violence and abuse, explore ways to discuss concerns with their children, and equips them to respond positively to their children if/when they experience abuse.
