Welcome to my workspace.  I am looking forward to a fun semester of learning and working together.  All my course content and assessment activities are located in my Google classroom.  Students may seek help in the morning or at lunch.

In second semester, I am teaching Dance 9, Music 9 and Work Place Learning. Course folders located in the left navigation contain course outlines for these courses.

~Work Place Learning~HCS3000~HCS3010~AGR3000~Registered Apprenticeship Program

Currently I am supporting students who are interested in Work Place Learning (WPL) to earn credits for graduation. Credits may be counted at Grade 10, 11, or 12.  Only 15 credits may be used towards the requirements for the Alberta High School Diploma.

Students who require HCS3000 (the pre-requisite course needed for WPL) will need to complete their course work online through Safety in Schools.   Please email me if you need this single credit course and I will enrol you.  The scope and sequence of the mini-courses (which equal HCS3000, HCS3010 and AGR3000) can be viewed in this document.

Contracts for Work Place Learning may be picked up in the main office.  Students must submit thoroughly completed contracts and site inspections must be done before students may begin earning credits.

Time sheets may also be collected in the main office.  Every 25 hours worked, whether at a paid or volunteer position, will equal one credit.  Time sheets must be submitted weekly.

Parent Tips

I encourage parents/guardians to be actively involved in your child's school life.  I believe when parents and teachers work together, children can be successful in their learning.

• Please visit powerschool bi-weekly so that you are up to date with your child’s assignments, class schedule/timelines, attendance, and marks.
• PowerSchool Parent Tech Support
• Please visit your son or daughters Moodle course platform and/or notebook so that you are up to date with your child’s learning.  You will have to use their login information to access this information.
